in the sitcom called the nany, the main character called fran fine, who works as the nany for a broadway producer called maxwell sheffield. Maxwell sheffield had 3 kids. the eldest one is Magret or known as Maggie wants to go on date. Maxwell who was a strict typical dad who wants to protect his daughter didnt allow maggie to go on a date. So, fran who is close to Maggie, helped her by talking on maggie's behalf. Then sheffield said that Fran has to go and accompany them on the date.
