they said its Aurah Awareness Campaign

Assalamualaikum!
hola people!
today in gonna talk bout a campaign that has just recently
launched here in my campus
what they did was,
well, they emphasize the dress code according to islam
macam muslimah

everything was perfect
except one thing
shawl is strictly prohibited
Islam never prohibit its followers from fashioning
all you have to do is just cover them
its entirely up to you
whether you wanna just wrap a blanket,
or tudung, or even shawl
its just that when you wear, wear it neatly because we as muslims
we project the image of Islam
i have also once read it in the net
a malay quote which says
"pakai tudung tak wajib tapi tutup aurat itu wajib"
i strongly agree with this quote

the second this bout this campaign that i dont really like is
that, the way they deliver the message
if we wanna advise people there are some certain ways
let say this conversation between a&b
a: sister, tudung awak ni, kecik sangat, x malu ke bila jumpe brothers nanti?
b: diam *marah yang amat*
well, when you look at the conversation above, i wouldnt blame a from being angry, but of course
its not justifying what she did
but the way a talked would make the students to retaliate more
they would be tempted to do it more
why cant people advise the softer way?
Islam is something that is very nice
very soft
why do these people act this way?
why cant they approach by saying what is the necessity in covering aurah?
by saying the value of a women's aurah in islam
all these thing have wonderful reasoning
explanation in these itself can make people listen and InsyaAllah they might change as well

here is the verse from the Holy Quran
from surah Al-Azhab verse 59

O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e.screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

as i was looking for the translation
i found this on the web
i hope it does contributes some
this is the explanation on why Allah sent down the verse above

well, renung-renungkanlah
and YES please do remind me as well
if i happen to be forgetting my dress code
sesungguhnya manusia sering perlu diingat-ingatkan.
